Australia's Top Android Food & Diet Tracking Apps: Q1 2021 Performance Overview

The first quarter of 2021 has been eventful for Food and Diet Tracking applications in Australia on the Android platform. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the performance of the top apps in this category. Let's take a closer look at the download, revenue, and active user trends for these applications.

MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter observed a fluctuating revenue trend starting at around $24K and peaking at over $30K before settling near $21K by the end of the quarter. Downloads began at approximately 6K, peaked at 6.5K, but experienced a downtrend to 3.5K. Weekly active users showed an initial increase from 43K to over 51K but then followed a declining pattern, finishing at around 47K.

Fastic: Fasting & Food Tracker experienced a revenue trend with initial growth from nearly $5K to over $5K, followed by a decline to around $2K. The app's downloads decreased sharply from 4.9K to just over 1K, and weekly active users also saw a downward trend from 13.7K to 8.5K.

For Lifesum: Healthy Eating & Diet, revenues started at around $3K, saw a peak at approximately $4.6K, but ended with a slight decline to $1.2K. Download numbers showed a sharp decline from 2K to a few hundred, with weekly active users starting at 8.7K and declining to 4.1K by the quarter's end.

Carb Manager–Keto Diet Tracker showed a revenue pattern beginning at approximately $1.3K, peaking at over $2K, but closing the quarter at just over $800. Download figures experienced a peak of 940 but declined to 284, while weekly active users started at 4.4K and ended the period close to 2.9K.

Lastly, Carbon - Macro Coach & Tracker showed a revenue journey starting at $1.3K, reaching $1.6K, but concluding the quarter just above $1K. Downloads were low, starting at 21, peaking at 103, and ending at 60. Since there was no data on weekly active users for Carbon, the focus remains on its revenue and download trends.
